Scottish Photographic Federation (SPF) Competition

 

This Scottish national print and digital portfolios competition involves clubs within the Federation. The portfolios comprise colour print, black and white (or monochrome) print and projected image categories. Selection of the entries may be part of a club competition, or judged from a selection of members images (usually (but not exclusively) winners and runners up from club competitions), by club members, or a subcommittee.

Prints 4 mono (B+W/monochrome) and 4 colour

 

Maximum of 2 images per individual author.

 

No images from previous SPF portfolio competitions in any category.

 

Cannot enter same image in more than one category.

 

The Competition Secretary will label prints entered into the SPF print competition according to the current SPF rules.

 

Digital. 6 images

 

Maximum of 2 images per individual author.

 

No images from previous SPF portfolio competitions in any category.

Cannot enter same image in more than one category.

 

The Competition Secretary will rename images entered into the SPF digital competition according to the current SPF rules

 

 

GP Simpson Competition

 

This is an annual interclub competition involving several local area clubs.

 

Selection of the entries may be part of a club competition, or judged from a selection of members images (usually (but not exclusively) winners and runners up from club competitions), by club members, or a subcommittee.

 

Each club enters 6 prints and 6 digital images. There is a maximum of 2 images per individual author per category.

 

There are currently no up to date published rules for this competition, so the above is a guide and subject to change.
